💜 The Stranger *"Is it strange that sometimes I'd rather talk to a complete stranger about my problems than someone I know?"* No. I don't think that's strange at all. In fact, I think I understand why. When you talk to someone you know, there's often history attached to the conversation. You might worry they'll judge you. You might wonder whether they'll look at you differently afterward. Maybe they'll tell someone else. Maybe they'll bring it up six months from now. Or maybe you simply don't want your problems becoming part of how someone close to you sees you. Sometimes it's easier to talk to someone outside your everyday life. There's something freeing about being able to say: *"This is what I'm really thinking."* Without worrying about what happens at dinner tomorrow, at work Monday morning, or at the next family gathering. And sometimes you don't even want advice. You don't need someone trying to fix everything. You just want another human being to listen while you finally say what's been going through your head. That's one of the reasons I created **Confide In Elizabeth**. You don't have to impress me. You don't have to pretend everything is fine. And you don't have to start by telling me your entire life story. You can start with one sentence. **"Elizabeth, there's something I really need to talk about."** Then we'll take it from there. I'm a real person, not an AI chatbot, and I personally read and respond to my messages as my daily schedule permits. And whatever is on your mind, I'll listen. 💜 **I'm not a therapist. I'm simply someone who listens without judgment.**
