I, on the other hand, suggest stopping swinging from the vines of shame, climbing down, and overcoming that social neurosis through 🦉information PS One of the keys that can help you understand why it's so hard to leave this paradigm is actually very simple. It's because this value system gives you an instant, free self-esteem boost. Just like that. In Christian/ post christian, any other culture, you have to work hard to feel okay about yourself. But in this one, you feel okay immediately, without doing anything. All you have to do is not do really, really, really bad things – and boom, you're already the darling of the Almighty. He's literally looking at you and smiling – "aw.. that's my boy, look at you!". It's a manipulative, nasty bait – very clever, very harmful. The second bait is the feeling of warm supporting you community, of your tribe, which is an illusion either. We come here alone, live alone, and will leave alone. Which is totally normal, no drama. The people in our lives can only ever be a miracle, a gift, a blessing – never an entitlement. We can't take that for granted. It's not promised to anyone. And if you understand that these are exactly the hooks stuck in your lip like a fish, and you're wriggling on it, unable to get free – if you find a pair of pliers, bite them off, pull that hooks out, and learn to live with realistic self-esteem, feeling like absolute shit sometimes, feeling alone, just like the rest of us – lol – that will help even more than all those textbooks. But the textbooks are still mandatory. I insist 💅
